RAVELUTION

As climate change has started to unfurl before our eyes, ignorance is still the main culprit that causes many of us to be optimistic rather than to do something. Most of us have grown in such an environment that we used to believe that our comfort is not threatened, that someone may someday invent a clever and cleaner technique to enable us to continue what we are today. But if there are so many positive works, so many fine people, so many concerns on environmental crisis, why there is still so little action?

Is been a long time since this blog has any post... but it doesnt indicates that we are no longer there... we are there and lots of performance, show and events that we have participate at the past... and in near future we have 2 more events to go through..

It just that the writer of this blog which is ME couldn't find sufficient time to do it as he is now currently in ACCA and the workload is just getting LOADIER!!! HAHAA!!!

On last Tuesday 13th of May, SYUC held ( from the above ) in Sunway pyramid and so i went there to perform.

And finally representation from our own Ravelution club in the Track of Talents.. WOOHOOO!!! This time there will be 2 performance from our house....

Clad in a simple T-shirt and jeans, Adam from the Ravelution accompanied by a friend, Dimi showed us the wonder of throwing small wheel up in the air by a thread, sometimes, 2 wheels practically everywhere without getting them tied up in knots like I would. They are the yo-yo masters who spend hundreds of ringgit getting fanciful equipments to try out new moves and stuff

They are T.O.T's special guests for that night which came straight from Philipines to show their talents...Hailing from the Philippines, Talent Inc. was invited to the stage to share what they have prepared for us, a lineup of colourful choices of breathtaking performances. Talent Inc is a 1 year old team based in Davao, the Philippines under the church, Victor Christian Fellowship organized by the Fabregas. Together with us that night was Julia, Maybelle, Josh, Marlou, EJ, Ivy and their dedicated team of pastors. Ushering them to the stage was the romeo, Filipino on-screen-heartthrob, Pangako sayo actor, Jericho Rosales!!

They moved so passionately to the upbeat of the song they had the whole audience eyes on to them all the way...!!! WOOHIOO!!

They started off with a dance number to the remix version of Awesome God which was AMAZING.

Their second number was a song by the legendary Gloria Gaynor, I will survive.They ended with yet another excellent dance number, to the hit musical, Hairspray.

How about you guys out there, ready to show what you've got?
Wrapping up the night was our guest artist, our very own homegrown talent, Miss Melina William from Tempered Mental. The vocalist and the bassist from a three piece band, equipped with a guitar, a humble presence and a message to convey, she presented 4 songs for the night which kept the crowd wanting more when she delivered her last number. Easing her into arranging herself on the center stage was of course our lovely hosts, Neil and Cpt Cruz asking her lots of questions haha. The audience barely let up the releasing of adrenaline as she performed “Riddles”, a haunting melody and then “Blindfold” and the last one, “Re-Call”. Timeless tunes.

WHAT'S WITH THE FOOT PICTURE???

Don't get what the title are refering too? Well on last Wesneday 30th of April, Echo launched their own website in blogspot....

And Ravelution decided to join in the fun on their activitiy planned and support the Echo in what are they doing also...

The 5 minutes are called the FREEZE ZONE... KEKEKE!!! Before launching the website, Echo had it a frezze zone where is like time stop... everyone have to stop in what are they doing.. and this is the picture i can took while freezing... WAHSEI!!!

We even have performance from our member MJ and Jose later....

On last Tuesday 29th of April, a meeting was held in the SSD where we are gather to have a brainstorming session for the upcoming performance on the Lecturer Appreciation Day on the 13th of May in Sunway Pyramid.

Before the session begins, after a long day of putting our heads into the books, we had a chill out time for awhile which we called it ice breaking lar...KEKEKE!!!
